My entry for the January Robot-Japan Fun Draw, themed: Ultimate Sentai Robo. Basically the idea is to create a Sentai Robo (or Megazord if you prefer the Power Rangers term) using different components from various Robos to join into a new combination. So I chose to do one consisting of all Red Ranger components/leader vehicles.
Comprised of the lead vehicles from: DekarangerRobo (forms body) DekawingRobo (forms right arm) VictoryRobo (forms right leg) Victory Mars (forms left arm) VRV Robo (forms left leg) I also wanted to do something different, artwise, so the drawing and shading were all done in pencil, then I added the red wash and highlights in photoshop. Hope you like it.  |

That said, I like how this came out--the robots actually integrated pretty smoothly and I like the all-red colour scheme when coupled with the sketchier rendering--it really gives it a more aggressive, rougher and feel to it that I like quite a bit. Excellent work! Very well done!
